I was wondering why people dont run E85 fuel in there wheelers when its almost a buck cheaper. Will this ruin your motor? how is it any different from running alcohol or race gas? with a stock motor do u gain anything running E85 or pure alcohol, race gas etc.? Thanks for any help

Well i heard that u have to start whit E85 on the first run and then stay whit it so it doestn screw up the motor and for me on the trail in the woods its not always easy to find E85 and it might void ur worinty and also for me a gaz tank is like 13 to 15$ on Super or Ultra gaz and im good for a full day of riding so i dont realy care about fuel economi.

ethanol sucks, its nothing like race gas, its grain alcohol and its hydrostatic (attracts water) so if u let it sit the condensation will mix into your gas and u will have a water blend fuel (not good) as for the race gas thing race gas has a much higher octane than ethanol when it all comes down to it, you get what u pay for.

ethanol is fine as long as its a high comp motor and if u run unleaded gas before and u run ethanol after it is such a clean fuel the alchohol cleans the jets in your carp thus plugging your jets (duh).any way nothing a good carb cleanin wont fix.

Actually it is hygroscopic not hydrostatic.

E85 dose not get NEAR the mileage... It actually costs more per mile to drive a pick up truck running E85.. well here at lest.
