I have two raptor 660s that seem to have the same problem. When i try to start the motor the starter relay just buzzes. Both bikes have new relays and new batteries. I have cleaned and checked all connections to the battery, starter, computer, and ground and cleaned them with contact cleaner with no result. Both bike will run when pull started and the relay clicks on botrh when the wire to the starter is removed and ther start button is pressed. Tyhe starter clutches on both bikes are fairly new also. I know there is an elctrical problem connection that i am probably over looking. Can some one help me.

 

my switch on the bars got full of mud once and caused mine not to start.

 

unplug rectifier, see if it starts. If so you probably need a new stator. Find an oem manual (availible online at sandwizards.com under the tips and tricks section) and follow the procedure for testing the stator.

 

could be a bad starter too.
