I am suprised to see everyone hating on the extended warranties. I had my quad for about 8 months and then all of a sudden backing it off a trailer with ramps that was only about 1.5 feet off the ground the rear brake assembly busted and ruined the entire rear brake assembly. Took it in and it ended up being that they replaced the brake assembly the line the rim that the assembly bent when it came off and the rear axle.
Rear axle ... dunno the cost
brake assembly ... dunno the cost
rim.... dunno the cost
warranty replacement and not having to know the cost.... almost priceless.

just a question is the power steering on all the time or can you turn it on or off? as for the warrenty it depends on the way you treat the machine if you will baby it go with 6 months. if you will beat the crap out of it go with the 3 years because i am sure you have to spend over 600 on fixing it then. or if you have friends that are crazy go with the 3 year. I say that becuase we went out ice fishin with a bunch of buddies, there was 3 quads. with 6 people. none of them broke but one was close to rolling it over and it wasnt even his quad after that all the keys came out and into the pockets of the owners. so even though you trust them. keep a carefull eye on your friends.

The power steering is 'on' all the time, it works more when you are driving slow. The faster you go, the less it helps, as at higher speeds steering becomes easier. I don't know of any vehicle with power steering that allows you to 'turn it off'. Unless you turn the vehicle off.
Could be wrong tho.

Well honestly I have heard of some ppl finding the steering too twitchy at high speed, so maybe its still a little too easy...not sure tho some ppl love it and have no problems going fast with it. I guess it just takes a bit of getting used to.
Try it yourself and see if its a big deal...I would think it might be a little twitchy, some ppl can adjust some can't. I know DesertViper rides his like a sport quad, so it can't be that bad...
