I think the added weight of the engine would rule out a full sport machine, i would like to think it probably would be a 4x4 or sport 4x4.
Find a bike that yamaha makes with a 800cc.

Just think, when it come out ( yeah Right ) everyone will talk crap about that atv too and not just the raptor. But if the raptor cant even use all of its power unless going in a straight line. How....no who is going to use 800cc's? I think it sounds like BS.

I heard that Polaris has a 700cc that they are testing. Heard that from my friend at the Polaris dealer.

I guess you've heard of the Kawasaki Prairie 650. I know it's not a 'sport quad' but rather a 'sport utility'. It will be the first V-TWIN ever in a quad and the torque will be OFF THE CHART. There's a lot of interesting changes coming...

Now, if they would just bring back the Atari 2600! Those were the good days.

hey

i think b/s because it would take away all the attention of the all new and wonderful raptor. And i dotn think adding a 140 cc's is gonna add that much weight to it if it is gonna be a like a raptor you know. the raptor is only 398 pds not that much i dont think.

but i dont think they will not untill someone else has a bigger and better machine

I will formally kill this rumor. 800cc's is off limits. for one it would be a gas hog and have to pass emissions, which even earns the raptor a RED sticker in regular form. Finally 800cc and up is no longer considered an ATV by government, it is considered then an Offroad Vehicle and must complete all safety requirements of automotive off road vehicles. Unless there is a loophole , 799cc is the official limit for ATV displacement.

Well, that doesn't really kill it because my 600 Grizzly is actually 597cc's so an 800 ATV would probably be just under 799cc's and as long as they keep the weight under 1000 it should still be an ATV. I think.

Anyway, I don't want to see one for a couple of years because I just bought my Grizzly 4 months ago and I would feel the need to upgrade once it does come out

right. it would probobly be like 798cc or somethin like that but really i doubt there will be a new 800cc quad. but you never know with yamaha cuz their the only company that still has the ***** to release 2 stroke quads (exept maybe bombardier) so who knows maybe they'll surprise us. but i still doubt it. their next quad will probobly be one with the yz426f engine.
