Was at the dealer today, said they are releasing the K&N filter for Raptor soon. Does anyone out there know any more details?

I called K&N factory and talked to somone in R&D and he said not to expect any thing till spring. Yes, all the parts outlets are saying soon but it sounds more like a couple months. I'm going to wait because I'm a big K&N fan and we don't get much dirt in our filters here im Michigan in the winter!

I emailed K&N and they emailed me back and she said that it would be available the first of march. She couldn't give me a price but she said that it would about the same as other atv filters.

I love it! It is alot louder, I heard some riders didn't like it for trail riding. I ride the dunes and open spaces so sound doesn't bother me. When I first started it up in the garage, my roomate on the other side of the house side he could feel it shake the house. I did the silencer first and added the headpipe latter. Tell you the truth, I didn't see a huge improvement with the pipe, but the silencer yes!

rigoni, Glad you like your pipe and I'm also glad that you are honest and said that the head pipe didnt make to much of a differance. I have a TC racing pipe on mine and TC told me that the head pipe was a good design so I think the magazines are in with all these companies so they can make more $$$ by selling head pipe also. Have fun and be safe!

Thanks for the info Bartman, I called them today, said they just posted the info to their website. They are still waiting for them. Looks like it won't happen till March.

Have fun riding!
