I am currently run Kenda Trakkers on my Raptor 20-12-9 on Douglas red labels with a 12 tooth countersprocket. My question is I can't seem to beat anyone in a dragrace even another raptor I get smoked by about 2 bike links. I can get them off the start and then they catch up about 3 gear and blow by me like i'm siting still. Is this problem bike related, rider error,or is it the tires they are pretty wide and heavy. This only happens in the sand on hardpack both quads are evenly matched .So i think it's a tire problem.

I'm willing to bet its that sprocket. A 12 tooth is gonna give you more low end and take a little off the top compared to stock. You said you were getting the jump off the start and losing in top end. Seems to me that might be the sprocket.

I AGREE..IT SOUNDS LIKE THE SPROCKET...ALTHOUGH THE 12 TOOTH CORRECTS THE PROBLEM WITH 1ST/2ND GEAR U LOOSE TOP END!!
