also an old topic i wanted to bring back up, can a warrior bored .40 over with alot of work done to it go 80mph? i never got a straight anwser last time i posted this topic...</end quote></div>
With the right gearing, it may get to 80 mph, but it would need a lot more than bored .40 over. To get 80 mph out of it, it would have to be geared so high it would be useless in the lower gears. My guess is, with it just bored .40 over and with practical gearing and set up for more top end, and with the rest of the engine modded to the max, about all you will get out of that Warrior engine is about 65-68 mph.
Just for comparison, I had a warrior with the 446 kit, and the engine was almost modded to the max, without running nitrous, race fuel, alcohol, turbo, etc, and it would run about 72 mph. I had it geared for trail riding and could have upped the front sprocket to a 16 easily to gain more top end speed and still had plenty of bottom end left over, but I never did before I sold it. So in my experiences, 80 mph is a stretch for a Warrior engine.

well my outlaw is a demo model, it was built up out the factory with pure polaris parts to impress people at public tests and conventions, and it was one of the first 35 made in 2008. my local suzuki dealer purchased it at an auction in alabama and sold it to me. i garentee the thing will do 80mph, but my neighbor claimed his racing warrior to clock 83mph, i had this topic on here before and still am not certain about his claim and hes to chicken to prove it...

Grizzly 700: 68 mph on the speedo, downhill, with a tail wind.
Renegade 800: 71 mph on the speedo, flat level dirt trail, still gaining speed but ran out of room to go faster.
KTM 950 SE R: 154 mph on the dyno (no wind resistance), with stock gearing. Peak HP was 103 with the Akrapovik exhaust and dyno carb tuning.

I don't believe his Warrior will do 83 unless it has turbo, nitrous, a rocket, and a Banshee with a Hayabusa engine pulling it with a rope. People that are all talk and no action are always liers.
