I have a 2003 raptor 660 that does not charge at all. I checked the output at the stator and got about 16 volts AC at idle. Might be a little low? I checked to make sure none of the wires exept ground did not go to ground. I switched the regulator out for a different one and that made no difference either. I suppose it is a possibility that the other one may be bad but i do not suspect it is. Is there a way to test that? Does anyone have any other ideas that i may have overlooked that could be causing the charging problem? I also checked the 2 fuese and battery cables and all looked good there as well.
