Hey gus I was just gonna say I think on tuesday I am getting a 01 660 for about 1500 bucks, all i need to do is buy a couple things for it, bars and a upper control arm. It already has new tie rods and rear grab bar and taillight that will come with it.

What do you guys think?

 

I know the 01's had transmision issues and the starters went out i believe. other than that its a good reliable quad. good luck with the quad.

 

01'S did have tranny issues ( never heard of any starter issues thoe ) below is a link on how to fix it! Sounds like a good deal just add the cost of a tranny fix to your total and you are good to go.

the starter issue has to do with the one way going on them I believe. Mine has issues with it. I think that at most it is a $200 fix if you go with the heavy duty unit.
