Default No Spark on 01 Raptor 660

Well i have been having probelms getting this raptor started. From what i can figured i am not getting a spark on the plug. I replace the plug and didnt see anything. So my guess is my Ignition coil is bad or my CDI box is bad. Is thier anyway to check the CDI box?Any other ideal of what to check or do. Load me up with info.. i plan to spend all of saturday working on it.

He pull the plug out stick the end of it in the plug socket and hold the plug wire with plug stuck in it against the cylinder head and turn the motor over and if the plug doesn't spark i predict its your Cdi box but dont know really how to check it other than trail and error.

try this. on the left side of your bike. unplug the harness that comes out out the crank case cover right avout the sprocket. it a round harness and has 3 wires i beleive. if it starts up one of your stator windings is going to ground. dont buy a new cdi. leave it unplugged until she fires up then u can plug it bakc in if u want the battery to still charge. but it wont start unless its unplugged

Default Great!

K i unpluged the harness on the left, just under the seat. And it fired right up! then i pluged it back in and now its fine. At first it quit, but then started right back up and no problem. Think maybe a bad ground somewhere????
