Default What to do next???

I have an 1988 warrior. The problems all started when I had intermitten spark problems, it would run fine for hours then crap out , It would just sit there and crank till the batt would go dead. I purchased a new stator, and installed. It fired right up. I then found that the battery was bad, and also replaced this new, So after riding a few times, the new batt went dead, so I tested and found the starter to be drawing to much amps and killing the batt. Ok this is where things start getting strange, I purchased a new starter, and it now cranks fine without killing the batt. But I'm back to no more spark I tested the stator three to four times to make sure it did not burn out again, this check out ok . I also check the coil and it was ok, I also replace this, just to see if the testing were the same and they both checkout fine.
I pulled out the plug and replaced, before putting back in the head, I cranked it to see if i was getting spark, I would get a weak spark every now and then, but no steady spark. Need help , my question is

1) Is the stator assy supposed to be in crank case oil? or do I have a seal that leaks into the stator housing?
2) Does anyone have the wiring diagrams for this year warrior?
3) Whats next people?

Thanks
Mel
