need some raptor help
#1
this weekend i wrecked my raptor. the trails were real icy i road some huge hills all day though with no problem but when i was going home about dusk i hit a icy pace and rolled my raptor down over the hill i have some small cuts and bruises. thank god for helments. but my new gytr bumber looks like a taco and my handlebars are junked. nothing a little money wont fix. but when i got home i cleaned it up to inspect for further damage
well here is my problem when you ride my raptor it startes fine ,idels fine and rides fine through the neighborhood 1/2 throtle . but in 2nd gear throught 5th when you lay on it or punch the throtle after you reach 1/2 throtle in any gear you can hear the engine pick up and reve hard but my raptor is picking up and going with it. it does not stall but it is not just kicking in lick it did before i wrecked.
i cleaned the air filter. changed the spark plug. and drained the bowls in my carbs
it is also sounded like it needs to have to vavles checked again. could a wreck couse this?
any help i would love to here before i go spend money taking it to the yamaha shop who might not even find my problem
thanks WhittD

This is a long shot but i have a few theories.
Check to make sure none of the carb hoses or vents are pinched, also check the one on the gas cap.
Possibly too with it going over you may have flooded it and then fouled the plug after starting.
other consideration includes carb boots loose or torn or the highly likely broken or stuck-on choke
