If Its moving that much then the bearings should be cracking poping and making noise when it rolls!! is you carrier bolt's tight? check them if they are then yes you need bearing's BADLY I wouldnt ride it because you risk slinging your chain off and that's no good you could bust your case!!!BIG TIME BAD sooo get that dude fixed....

Its strange because I replaced the bearings a year ago..I dont hear any noise when it rolls or when I move it..Where is the carrier bolt? Also, I did do some heavy riding last week and had no problems, I drove it into my truck without any noises..It wasnt untill today I noticed the chain was a little loose so I was going to adjust it. I lifted the quad onto a stand resting on the frame. When I rotated the rear wheels i noticed that the whole axle moved..Alot!! But no noise from the bearings? The carriage bolt , is that the big bolt on the right side of the axle? Thanks for the help!

Yea the bolt it on the left if it is tight then it has to be the bearing's!!! Are you sure the whole swing arm isnt moving if so then swing arm bearing/bushing time. But if your bearings are bad then it's nothing too shocking I ride my Raptor pretty hard and do lot's of creek crossing's and it's pretty common for me to replace my bearing's once every year to year-1/2. So get out there double check your bolts and throw some bearing's in if she need's them ...

well it was loose the other day and i hand tightened it..the one im talkin about is on the right side if you sitting on it..to the right of the axle hub bolts..That one was loose. Im going down now to check though..Thank you very much. I also have another stuid question. I have a picture of something that looks a little strange to me..almost like a bolt got sheered off..Its on the left side right behind the front sprocket..attached to the frame. If you have an email and some time ill email it to you. Thanks alot for all the help.
