Banshee Wires
Hi StageIVbanshee,
thanks for the response, can you tell me how you disable these wire, is it just a matter of cutting them, as he feels that when he connected them in the incorrect sequence(black to white and vice versa) the bike seemed to run better, but he can't be sure.
I also carried out a compression test which gave a reading of 7 bar, I believe this to be poor, so I stripped the engine and removed the piston.
The barrels seem fine, both measure 64mm but the piston seem to have a lot of wear at the top, both again are around 63.5mm,
I am currently in the process of ordering replacement std pistons.
Thanks again
Ivan

you can buy TORS eliminator kits for about $60 from Vito's and it will include everything to take tors off and will make life alot easier with your carbs, alot of wear on the top of the piston on 1 side might be from one carb running leaner then the other which is deff not good, id try to get your carbs syncronized so it wont mess up your new pistons and also cause loss in performance as well, you can sync carbs yourself using a carb sync tool like a mercury gage, best way for an example is to look it up on YouTube, just type in carb sync banshee
