I have a 1987 warrior and i am not great at wrenchin but i try, When i hold in the clutch and rev the engine and drop it for a wheelie or to sling mud it seems to just slowly take off. Out on a trail or any other time it runs great screamin right along. If it is my clutch , is there an adjustment or do i need a new one? any ideas would be appreciated. thanx

You can get some gasket remover from Autozone if your original gasket gets torn when you pull the clutch cover off. That stuff works wonders. Without it, you will be scraping the old gasket for days to get it off. With the spray-on remover it only takes about 15 minutes.

there are some cheaper clutch rebuild kits around. i paid 90 bux for mine and didnt take time to research. found a bunch on ebay for about 60 and motosport.com for around the same. turned out my pressure plate was bad. that took another week to get on ebay. your gonna want some power tools to get rid of the big bolt that holds down the clutch and springs and what not. that thing was such a bitch to get out

Right on thanks for the tip sounds like i may need to bust out the air ratchet. I also tightened my chain which gave me a little better response on the throttle.
