Default 1999 warrior has no power to the coil

Since we are in a forum for the 1999 yamaha warrior. I wanted to know what kind of sprocket set up I would need to try and get the most power out hole. I love my quad its a real good quad it's my first one but I love it. Tore it up at Wellsville with it and Crows Canyon. Its an all around great quad I'm looking for a sprocket setup that I can try and pull wheeelies with out popping the clutch. Thanks

No sprocket setup adds power, it only changes how its applied. It sounds like you are wanting more low end torque, which means you should drop down to a 12 tooth front sprocket--however you will lose some top end.

SRP CDI? Who the hell is that? That could be the or part of the problem... cheapo CDI boxes are ALWAYS an invitation for a whole world of problems. Either go OEM or Dynatek on replacements. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that no name is causing your issues.

i think ive heard of srp but i agree that dynatek would be the only aftermarket choice for cdi's, everything else is risky.

Make your own thread for questions like that, since that has absolutely nothing to do with this topic...at all.

Does the warrior use a woodruff key to keep the flywheel aligned? My blaster gave me the same problems and it turned out the woodruff key was sheared and the timing was off. No spark but all my electronics tested as good. Alot of bs for such a little part.
