What is the proper premix to put in the banshee, and if I buy any that's mixed for me is there anything I need to know or watch out for?

it should be like 32:1, even though th manual says 25:1 with yamalube and it should be fine, but if i were you id try calling a dealer or going there anyway. and yamalube is ok but theres better stuff to use like the Klotz R50 and Blendzall which are my favorites, Bel-Ray, Castor 927 is good also. i think 32:1 is what must my buddies use though.

Also you need to get a tors removal kit.Tors is a factory f-up from yamaha, basically if you go full speed and hold the throttle wide open the tors could kick in and cut out the motor.

Took it out for a few hours today, it's really rainy and soft, and that thing was unreal. Once it hits 30% throttle the power just hits and it completely hauls ***. Tbh, I felt that it handled very well, and that the ride wasn't harsh, maybe b/c the back shocks seem very loose and cooshy. K so if I get any kind of like mobile or crappy 2 stroke engine oil from my barn and mix 32:1 ratio of gasoline : oil I will be fine? Btw scram, I think it'll be one to look at for you, it really is incredible, I think it'll be very hard to match the raw power it has! Thanks for all your responses btw.

to be honest in a banshee i would take the best care of it and only run the best of oils like the ones ive mentioned. but i guess if u have to it would be ok just make sure later on you get the good stuff. banshees are so much fun and are still about one of the fastest stock quads besides the suzuki lt500, ill be on the market to getting either a banshee or a 86-87 cr250. btw im a member of bansheehq.com and i highly reccomend you signing up to these forums being a banshee owner, these guys are literally the worlds smartest about banshees, anything you need to know we can and will find out.
