What is a roost boost? What would it do for my warrior? Where can you get them?

i'm not 100% sure, but i beleive it just electronically advances your timing. my neibor had one on his blaster and it seemed to work ok. i hear they're a pain to install. hope i helped.

I havent remembered they existed until now, I think they either advance the timing slightly, Or create a hotter Spark, or Both.

I dont remember how a roost boost system works, but i believe they were a 2 stroke specific item. I do remember that my cousin had one on his 80cc and it made a big difference in HP.

Hi,all,

Years back, a friend of mine had one on his Banshee, was having ignition problems, so he took it off as part of the troubleshooting, later he decided to run without, and took it apart. All he found inside was a loop of wire, evidently it is just a bypass for any resistive parts of the ignition, giving more juice to the plug,at least that was what we came up with.
Just my 2cents.

I had one on a Tecate (KAW 250). The write-up said that it curves the spark which provides more spark surface area.
