I just bought a used 05 Raptor 660 from a dealer. I got it home and tried to put it in reverse but I cant get it to work. I put it in neutral, pull in the clutch and turn the **** on the fender and nothing. The **** has a spring return and it just returns to the original position. I must be retarded... am I missing a step?

You need to shift the lever into reverse as well. Think of reverse as one click below first gear.

 

So neutral, turn and hold ****, click down twice?

 

yep, you may have to engage the clutch partially to get it to stay fully engaged.
