i am going to buy a yfz 450 with duncan fatyboy and tag handlebars for 3000 dollars, it is an 2005, i have been researching and many people say they are high maitinence and arnt to reliable, i dont race but spend most of my time in pits climbing hills and hitting small jumps, i was also looking into a raptor 700r but is it is 1000 dollars more, idk what i should do?

 

IMO they are reliable as you drive them. Change the oil like your suppose to and don't abuse them. It'll last you. Only 450 Yamaha or Honda that I've seen brake was one that went end over end down the tarmac.

Some say high maintenance because, the frequent oil changes. No biggie for me.
