is this dangerous?
i have a Kodiak 350 and dont want to hit the plow mount on a rock and drive it up into the engine.
does anyone else take these off before offroading?

Not sure what kind you have, but my Moose one attaches to the frame on both sides, and actually acts as a skid plate. The little ears stick down a little, but have never hung me up. If anything its done more to protect my engine, than harm.

I have the warn w/ a grizzly 700

Last year I trashed it and had to buy a new one this year... just be carefully going over rocks.

It was mostly my fault as I only took off half the mount and left the other less rigid parts on.

When I left mine on it got pretty banged up & caught in holes sometimes.
