93 banshee
#1
I haven't seen it yet but I'm lookng at a 93 banshee for sale for $500, tomorrow. The owner has had it since new and said it does need tires.
Anything I should look at? Known problems?
i checked Kelley blue book and even trade in value is $1300 so it seems like a good deal if everything else is in fair shape.

Check the a-arms over real well. It's not uncommon for them to break and be welded back on. If it's rides good and don't pull 2 bad then I wouldn't worry too much. Like the other guys said. For $500 you can afford to put some cash into it.

hey, i have an 01 banshee that's just been over bored and new pistons rings and everything, i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to work in the freshly rebuilt motor.. some people told me it can be broken in in 20 minutes and others have told me over 10 hours or riding if anyone have any experiance with breaking in a new top end it would be very greatly appreciated. I just bought two brand new chain saws. Set the mix to 40 to 1, started it up, warmed it up, and cut a cord of wood at full throttle. I now have many hours on it with no problems. If the machine work was done correctly you will be fine.
