Default 04 Raptor 660, front sproket fell off and lost oil..????help please

hey me and my buddy was riding me on my popo 500 sportsman and him on his raptor 660.. we were haulin *** down a trail and he was a long way ahead of me and he said he let off the gas heard a clunk... pulled in the clutch and stopped...

now what happend from what i could see is the nut that goes on to hold on the front sprocket fell off,, and there is a shaft that comes out that that sprocket goes onto... it looks like the oil came outta there,, but i dont know anything about these quads...

as for the motor... it did loose all to almost all the oil but did not blow it.. it did start back up.. with no knocking or rattleing...

hope someone can help
Thanks

I have a raptor 660 and mine did the exact same thing the front sprocket came off and the oil is more than likely leaking out of the main shaft there is a seal there behind the plate you will have to replace it the seal is about 8 dollars and easy to fix also i hope he did not bend the main drive shaft that can happen if it comes off
