could the valve seals let in that much oil to make it smoke like a chimley? tryed running it for quite some time still smoking like crazy, and my compression is good? i also noticed a little oil coming out the exhaust port on the bottom of the flange.

 

Valve seats but you did not replace the guides? Huuuu? Why would you have to replace the seats?

What was the guide to valve stem clearance? Were the valves replaced? If not, was the stem within spec?

 

i'm not sure if they did the guides or not i took the head to a shop,i'm gonna call them today and find out what all they did exactly , I don't believe they replaced the valves to payed to little I would think for the valves to be done to.
