Default 01 warrior motor booging

it's an o1 350 warrior what my problem is when i'm giving it throttle it will rev up then boog out then rev then boog again, we tryed disconnecting the clutch and parking brake wires and jumped them together, and it's still doing it. last night for the hell of it we took my friends carb off and put it on mine and it's still doing the same thing, so I am definetly leaning towards electrical, what could be my problem? it also has a new cdi coil etc.

that could be something as simple as it needing a new plug, might have a messed up sparkplug boot also, being an 01 i doubt it would be something like a stator going out already.

there's a new coil/wire and plug in the girl, but no harm in trying a new plug and boot.

Sounds like something is grounding out that shouldnt be. Double check your wire harness.

yea trying maybe riding while fiddling with wires or just revving it when moving wires around and see if it smooths out a little while you wiggle them or something, its gotta be something simple like that im gonna be suprised if its something serious.

Yea man I had the same year warrior and it was doin the EXACT same thing to me. 91Warrior357 is right on with it. IMO where they have the wires along the left side of the seat going back towards the rear of the quad completly open to mud is without a doubt one of the worst designs I have ever seen. What I kept doing was while I was revving it I kept fiddling with the wires along the seat and it would clear up and as soon as I took my hand away it started doing it again. I think something kept getting wet in there but I never really did fix the problem fully and it kept happening to me whenever that area got wet. Hope that helps bro.

On the 02 Warrior that I had the switch that limits the revs while in reverse and while the parking brake is on was bad. Mine was doing the same thing and all I had to do was bypass the switch if memory serves me correctly. Hope this helps
