i would go with the yfz 450 for two reasons... on being that the rpms go much higher than the honda.... second is it pulls way harder on the top end than the honda... these machines arent made to pull through the gears like 700 they are meant to be a gear lower and higher rpms. i felt like the honda rapped out a little to quickly it would be a great by if an additional 1000 rpms were added. but in the end i would go with the yfz if you wanna ride hard

 

Ive had all exept a honda, I road aYFZ and my wife road a LTR. When I blew up the YFZ had to rezort to riding the LTR. I fell in love with it. More power beter handling just an all around beter bike, so I went out and got an 08LTR450SE. Now my buddy just deployed and left me with is Predator 500. Alot of power but its so narrow the handling just isnt there. If you go with anything besides the LTR I recomend geting Fox suspension with +2 or +3 a-arms.

 

being taller(6'3) i feel more comfortable on the trx450r. i own a 08 honda 450 and my buddy has a yfz. i would recomend either one. they are both screamin fast and reliable. but i think the suzuki is a little too wide for trail riding. the suzuki is great on the track but dragwise stock to stock it aint quite as fast as the trx and yfz.
