anyone ever have problems with a bendix, i think thats what its called. i took my raptor to be serviced today and the mechanic said it was the bexin.he knew the problem right away. anyone know how big a fix this is and how much it costs.

Bendix is an automotive term, and not a direct correlation to the atv. Is there anything actually wrong with the quad, or is the mechanic just inside the stator side cover for no reason? I'm fairly sure he's talking about the one-way starter assembly, consisting of the one-way bearing and the gear it's mated to. It's about 250 dollars for parts as you should replace the gear and use an aftermarket bearing as the OEM one is junk. L&L and L&A both make aftermarket solutions that are covered with excellent warranties.
