high altituded and jets

Default high altituded and jets

hi i live in colorado and i just bought myself a yamaha warrior on ebay from minisota and from what i have been reading i will have to have the quad rejetted for the altitude i just want to know what kind of jet and how hard is it to do would i have to have a mechanic do i or is it something simple that a guy with a garage full of tools can do

Default high altituded and jets

The hardest part of jetting is the trail and error. How is it running? I live in Denver, I know plenty of people that ride on stock jetting. You don't HAVE to but to get full use of the machines power you will need your carb to be dialed in.
