Default warrior boggs out at full throttle

sorry to bust out with a question on my first post but...

i have an 02 warrior
this is my first quad, i just got it a week ago

while it sits at idle in neutral if i punch the throttle 1/4 or 1/2, it rev's fine
if i hit the throttle all the way it boggs and dies

also
if i'm running at a decent speed and punch it all the way it will do fine
but if i'm in first or second gear going slow and punch it all the way
it will bog and try to die

i had the carb cleaned yesterday brought it home and reinstalled it
and it still does the same thing
so i took the carb back off, took it in and had them clean
it again just in case something was still plugged
that still didn't help

i also installed a clear gas line and clear gas filter so i could see if any "junk" was coming out of my tank
i don't see any build up in the line or filter, it seems to be clean

any ideas on what i should do next

thanks

Sounds like a sticking accelerator pump in the carb. Really crappy design on the Warrior and very prone to doing this. Replace the spring on the carb pump, normally one out of a click type ink pen works just fine.

More firm. The little spring that is originally in there is honestly just downright pathetic. I was having the exact same problem and put it in that different spring and problem solved.

ok to update,

i talked to the guys at TURN1, it's a dealership

over the phone they said they had a carb rebuild kit in stock
i took my carb off and took it with me while getting the kit
they took carb apart and said it looked fine
i bought the kit anyway and rebuilt my carb

guys at TURN1 said that going instantly from idle RPM to 100% RPM does
cause all warriors to bog and die and that in fact it would
cause a race quad to bog out and die also

the carb rebuild and setting my idle up just a little bit seems
to have helped, just a little bit though

3 days ago while i was riding around the lake i found a guy that races dirt bikes and has a little practice track. i got permission to ride there
today i asked him to ride my quad, he said he thinks it runs fine and engine sounds good too

i guess my question now is:
are the guys at TURN1 right, will going instantly from idle RPM
to 100% RPM cause all quads to bog out?

thanks

yea pretty much, thats ALOT on the engine and it usually just gags it out, the only quads that can go from idle to 100% WOT and not hiccup would be prolly drag setup quads, i know mine gags if i do that but if i raise the idle just a spec then wick the throttle wide open it wont.

Mine's hit and miss on that--but only at idle. Normally once I am good and warmed up I can do whatever the hell I want with the throttle, but if I haven't been running for long I can't just peg it. However in gear (when riding) it doesn't make a difference hot or cold if I go 0-100%--it just picks the front end up and goes!
