This might be my last post. I have found lately that all that seems to go around in forum is BASHING of all machines no matter who makes them. There are finally sport quads to choose from be happy about that and enjoy it. The fourm should be used to help each other with mods repairs and for conversation . but not tho say that this one suck or that one is to big . this site has become sad !!!!

Well said rraptorr13, all in all way too much quad bashing lately. This is an open forum and people have the right to say whatever they want. I just wish everyone would respect the choices of others to buy ,build , or ride whatever they want to. I am severely Honda biased but I have an open mind at least.

rraptorr13,

I've been doing some reading in the DirtRider.net forum since I'm thinking about buying a '02 CR250 next year and I noticed it was much more mature in comparison to this board. I haven't had a big problem being bashed in this board personally, but I do see it quite a bit. Maybe dirtbike riders are more grown up for the most part? Anyway, this forum has and does offer a lot of useful information and you can usually tell which messages are going to have a lot of bashing by their titles and I just simply stay out of those. There's my .02 cents worth (hey, how come these keyboards don't have a 'cents' symbol?).

Don't let the Trolls chase you away. Just ignore them. That is what I try to do....try I say because it can be difficult. Keep in mind that people who are the most aggressive in forums are usually not that way in real life (cuz they wouldn't get away with it). If you feel you must respond to them....do it in a way that makes them look dumb (which shouldn't be hard with most of them LOL).

I ride with all brands of bikes and NEVER hear anything approaching the level of brand idiocy I do in these forums....and that applies to all brands. Just don't reply to the bashing and it will go away.

Some boards I frequent have what is called a "kill filter" meaning, if somebody is really getting on your nerves you can put him in your kill list and you won't even see his posts. That would be nice here.

Regards,

MrMan

I feel that most of the bashing comes from the sport ATV owners. I don't know if it is just a testosterone overload on speed or what. I do notice that in the most of the owners of utility type ATV's are a bit more civilized in the way they discuss their quads. I own a Kodiak and I really could care less if a Sportsman or what ever can beat me in a race, all I care about is having fun and getting muddy.

Just my .02 cents.

Well want a prime example go look at my post in the honda forum. I put a post on there "250r's are overpriced. They were only $2600 knew." Well neeless to say I got some senseless posts and I too am guilty in the same forum I put some well rather useless post after getting bashed by some other people. Oh well I was just making a point originally and eventually it turned to amusing arguments.

I read that thread in the Honda Forum (which the moderator seems to have erased thank god). Would y'all care for a sample of the text?

extreme: Well it looks like another retarded post this concept was already stated if you would have read closely to my orig post!

extreme: No $h!t trapperb1,

extreme: 89TRXRIDER, First off your are ignorant by ignorant I mean (stupid)

extreme: Ridzhard, Dont post if you dont have anything knowledgable to say! Once again so far 2 people dont understand the acutall meaning for the post, ....... So try not to be retarded I know its hard for some people but please for the good of the post TRY NOT TO BE and if you think I am a moron I welcome you confront me because I probably have more knowledge of atv's and general info than you do if half of your so called brain!

extreme: Stroker or (Brad) why dont you take your fat dumbo 4eyed lazy looking *** and go ride your piece of **** 300ex.
and then....
So take your wanna be never has been or ever will be any good atv a$$ and go F your woman. Who knows maybe one day we will be riding in the same place and we can talk about this mono a mono!

......and it goes on like this

This is NOT the way to win friends and influence people. LOL

Personally, I was not offended by Extreme at all, mainly cause I could care less. I replied with my opinion and left it at that. Of course, what I am doing in here is exactly what I recommended AGAINST doing in my earlier post. LMAO! Like I said, it is hard sometimes. hehehehe....

Regards,

MrMan

ps I think it is hilarious that Extreme posted in here agreeing about the lack of civility in the Forum....kinda has a Clintonian feel to it.

Just sift through the crap...there is a ton of good information in these forums. I learn so much even from the "other brand" forums.
