Okay, I have one of these tanks and wanted to rebuild and bore the engine .50 over. Now, I can find the piston set but I can not find the valve rebuild kits. My question is what valve set will fit this, anything I should be looking for?

I have never worked on a Yamaha, so I am still fishing at the moment.

 

you might not be able to find a kit for the valves but Kibblewhite might sell some replacement valves and springs for it, but OEM valves and springs would work just fine also, all you should have to get is valves,springs,valve seals, and maybe the adjusters that are in the rockers.

 

Thanks and yeah, I have not found any kits just the valve.

Also, I bought an 01 Bear Tracker and I changed oil on all of my quads except these two. I can NOT get out the drain plug on either one to save my life. I followed the book (warm up engine, remove dip stick, then plug) and I am stumped. There is something that I am doing wrong, are these threads reversed or something? lol
