A friend of mine has the 400 prarie (called the "KVF" here" and I've been very impressed by what it can do. The only thing I don't really like about it, is the size. IT's a little heavy, but he usually leads the pack wherever we go.

I have a 2000 kodiak and absolutely love it. I don't have any complaints. I know a guy who has a prairie and he loves it as well, so I think it's just a matter of riding them both and seeing which one you like better. I don't think you'll go wrong with either one. I prefer the kodiak, but that's just me. Good luck!

I couldnt agree more. No engine braking is very dangerous were I ride. I truely love my Kodiak. I have learned many things about it and try to continuosly improve it one way or another. Can anyone tell me why my url wont work in the signature??

I have never ridden a prarie but I know I would want engine brakeing.

WE go into our hunt camp with trailers loaded to the max. There is a 300 KingQuad, a 400 Foreman, a 500 Sportsman, a 600 Grizzly, and a 400 Praire. There is alot of water and MUD!!
The Praire outperforms them all. Honest !
( The Sportsman is a 2000 with less than 300 kms on it. The 4wd drive would not work on our way out, and it kept over heating, who needs that ? )

isnt the prairie a 400 3x4 though? I thought it had the limited front slip diferential or whatever. I think that that means it would suck in mud. Oh and kissofdeath, you might try to add .html afterwards.
