Exclamation Jetting issue?

Recently bought my bike its 00 warrior. all the seals were shot i nthe carb and my accelerator pump was seized. the bike was runnign fine until i rebuilt the carb and replaced all my gaskets etc... I think the guy who had it before me re jetted the bike? my bike runs but i can only get up to about 3/4 throttle in 3rd and less then half throttle in 6th. any other ideas on what it might be?

Its hard to tell since you said "the bike was running fine until I rebuilt the carb". If the jets are the wrong size, it would have had issues before you touched it. If that's the case, then something went wrong in your rebuild.

However, the general rule about jets is like this. The pilot jet is for the first 1/3 of the throttle. The needle jet from 1/3 to 2/3, and the main comes in from 2/3 to full throttle. Where in the throttle you are having issues combined with this general rule should point you in the right direction. But again, if none of these issues were present before you touched the carb, then its not a jet issue. Give us a little more detail and someone can provide some better insight.

My accelerator pump was seized before the rebuild. what i was thinking was the guy thought a jet messed up and re jetted the bike instead of fixing the carb? but tell me what else you needa know and ill get back to you

Tell us this...

1) What was the bike doing BEFORE you did the rebuild?
2) Do you know what size jets are in the carb now?
3) What mods are on the bike?
4) What is it doing now AFTER the rebuild?

Don't be afraid to type a lengthy answer. Since we can't see it, we have to rely on your description - so be specific.

Currently im not sure of what jets were in the bike but i took it to a mechanic to check it out,,, he said that all gaskets and seals were gone and my accelerator pump was seized.. before the rebuild my bike was running fine the carb would just overflow if the gas wasn't turned off. after rebuilding it it bogs out and will stall out if i try to bring it over 3/4 throttle in 3rd gear about 3/4 in 4th gear maybe 1/2 throttle in 5th and less then a 1/4 in 6th. there are no mods on it that i know of
