Tell you what, I've only had my '03 Wolverine since April, but I've already learned quite a few things from her. If you're thinking about any form of modding, the first thing you need to get is the warn 424 that allows you to disconnect the front axle at will. And I would get this soon as I heard it was discontinued. This is definitely the mod for the wolverine. After that if you want any performance mods alot of engine mods listed for the warrior that you can't find for the wolverine will work just fine. A good example is the fmf powerbomb that fits just fine on the wolverine. But you wanted to know pro's and con's so here's my two cents.

Pros:
Light as hell. It's very easy to throw around.
Easy to work on. Adjusting the valves can be done in no time.
For a full time 4x4 350 she's pretty quick.

Cons:
Air-cooled (provisional). If you like to get muddy, and I do, you need to routinely get the mud off the cylinder and oil cooler or she'll overheat.
Also, I've heard the valve trains can be inherently noisy. I know mine is, even with perfect valve tolerances and almost no wear on my timing chain or tensioner I still get a clicking sound when she gets hot.
And that's all I got so far. I've treated my baby like a dirty prostitute on the trails and when I get home I make sure she's all good to go and to this day (knock on wood) she hasn't given me any issues.

If you want some advice for comfort though, I don't know how big/tall you are but I found the high rise handle bars uncomfortable so after the first set got bent in an accident I switched them for some raptor bars. Fits me (5'7" and 140lbs.) perfect.

if you need anything else just ask. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

I will post some more pics of this today sometime. It has some mods already like the disconect for the front axle you can switch it in or out at will. Some really nice skid plates and some nice tires and a header and pipe also.
I cant belive how much faster this thing is over the wifes 300 fourtrax.
What is the best oil to use I was thinking 20-W50 for summer but not sure.

I've been using 10w-40 with about 1/2 a quart of lucas oil stabilizer. And I just took a closer looks at the pics. You got yourself a nice wolverine there. If you got an aftermarket header and pipe you might want to get a better intake and check to see if she's been rejetted.

Honestly, I don't know. My dynojet kit is in the mail as we speak. If it gets here anytime soon I'll let you know.
