It should work, as Polaris did not actually make the winch itself. Now some of the folks who got the Polaris branded winch may tell you it may only be temporary. Lots of horror stories about them breaking.

But essentially, almost all the winch brands have the same bolt pattern, so they would bolt up to the mount specific for your machine. Wiring may be another problem though. Not sure they are so universal there.

I'm sure someone can chime in and get a little more info on that area for you.

Its new in the box never instaled. $150.00 is what he told me I could get it for, I think it was a 2,500lbs winch.

Just sold a NIB Mile Marker 2500lb winch for 120 bucks here.

I'd say you could probably get 150 for it, provided they never read the thread here talking about them.

Maybe the question should be, "will it fit".

Get a good winch mount and anything will fit. Mine will fit warn, superwinch, and some other brand that I can't remember, and at the same time it puts the oil cooler in a much more protected location.

I'd say get a Warn or Mile Marker. Both are good brands. Both can be a little pricey too. What you want is one that will work while it's covered in mud and water, not nice and clean at the campsite.
