bear tracker, cdi? rev limiter?

Did you ever get it to work right? My big bear is sitting in my back yard with a complete new ignition system tried multiple carbs, compression is good, bypassed the brake switch, with or without air filter. Plug is black, starts and idles like new, won't rev much above idle. Spits back through the carb.

I have seen many of these big bears for sale with the same problem so there must be someone who has experienced this and fixed it. Problem seems very common.

Mine actually ended up being the carb jetting.
​​​​​i had to raise the needle way up with a few small washers passed what the adjustment gives you and it worked. Haven't got around to just getting a bigger main jet cuz it's actually running pretty good.

Default Green wire

https://www.ebay.com/str/wheelzofpower I have had the same issue many times it always ends up being a green wire with a yellow line has something to do with the rev limiter ground it to the frame
