Default Step by step on adjusting valves

I've got a 2001 Warrior with low hours and figured it was time to adjust the valves...I don't want to purchase a repair manual and was wondering if someone could give me a step by step on how to do it

Thanks

Sandwizards.com click tips and tricks manuals then warrior, it should have it in there, take gas tank and seat off, then valve covers and side cover window plug line it at TDC, and then use a feeler gauge to measure the valve lash and you need a 10mm wrench and 4.5mm wrench i think or just some needle nose pliers to adjust them to spec then re tighten and adjust again you want it to where the feeler gauge just barely has resistance on it when sliding it in between the valve and adjuster.
