Was at the dealer today. Cannondale is shiping becaues they need to move all there inventory. He said they are going out of business. Need to liquidate. Run quick if you want your fx400

Cannondale going out of business?? Sory, but you could not have made up a lamer story.. Canondale is one of the top mountain bike sellers in the world.. I doubt they will go out of business, so nice try.

it may still be a rumor but i heard the same story about cannondale. i heard they spent so much time and money on their bike and quad that they basically are broke. the industry is a little more expensive than mountain bikes!? not bashing them or anything just doing what the site is here for to keep people posted and swap info.

The other thing you have to remember is that while Cannondale is a well known and respected bicycle manufacturer, NOBODY in the bicycle business is making money these days. Almost every major bicycle manufacturer is in hock up to their eyeballs.

 

i agree with miker. they got into the atv and bike buisness cause there was a drastic drop in bicycle sales. everyone thinks a big company like this couldnt go down but dont anyone remember how many times chrysler has went bankrupt and been sold out to new owners?

now a little off the point but... miker i see your from wisconsin. what do you ride? wanna hook up sometime or somthing maybe. would be nice to ride with some new folks now and again.

You're in a nice area up there. I've ridden a few mountain bike races up in your neck of the woods.

I ride a 95 King Quad. I bought the machine last summer to plow snow with. I'm in the bicycle business so I rarely am able to get out of the shop in the summertime, but maybe we can do something in fall.
