need bottom end warrior

Unhappy need bottom end warrior

cracked my warrior block by making the chain too tight .what would be a good repair besides replacing. it cost too much from ebay just to ship here to guam and heard its not a good idea to wield it

find somebody who can weld real good, i got mine welded.

oh yea, it can be welded and last forever its just very hard to weld...the average welder most likely will have a very hard time and will probably not turn out right, my dads a very very experienced welder so i got him to do it, i just gave him an old junky crank case from some of my spare warrior parts, and he welded a few beads on it to get the feel for it and went for it.

did you have to disassemble the block or was it just the outside part that you weilded

it was just that like little fender piece that sits above front sprocket, the piece that broke off was maybe the size of a dollar bill folded in half.

thats minor. mine is to the point where oil comes out but its a hair line crack. when i clean the area with simple green or something its like nothing there but when the engine is running and the oil is flowing then i can see it. thanks for the help though.....

If it's that minor you really should just try and get it welded first. Go ahead and split the case and take that side to someone who can weld aluminum, and do it well. If they do a good job you should never have another problem out of it.

yea mine leaked oil also made a big mess untill i got it welded.

thanks guys. i've had plans to have it welded since last year when it happened but i've been reading online from other riders not to do so, its just wasted money and time. but coming from everyone here it sounds like a possible solution. even from other postings once agaiin thank you so much ........
