We've known for a long time that you do not leave anything that can be stolen out at night. This now applies to any time you're not on your bike. At dusk last weekend we had a 2001 bashee ride itself out of camp. The BLM rangers and the Sheriff's deputies were of no help, they were even too busy to take a report...not too busy to give a friend of mine a ticket for no helmet while he unloaded a trailer.....

That really sucks. I was at Dumont and there were definitely a LOT of a**holes there. It's starting to get a little like Glamis on big holiday weekends. The Rangers seemed to be pretty cool though. I saw them let some idiot slide for DUI over by the vendor area. The guy reeked of alchohol and they just told him not to drink and drive as he was pulling away in his truck. Too bad about your friend getting a ticket for no helmet.

That's goto be the worst thing that could happen to an avid atver or any atver for that matter. Sorry about your luck guy, hope you get it back.
