That seems liek a good price for that blaster but i think your a bit to big for it.

i am 5"10 and 180 pounds and that would be tiny to me. If i were you i would try to get somethign a little bigger like a 400ex. If you get the blaster you will want more power very soon.

Just try to get a 4-stroke atleast 200ccs bigger then the blaster. Raptor 350, warrior, blaster are all very close in power and top speed.

Blaster is a good quad though if you just want to have fun driving around but if you are planning on doing alot of riding i recommend you to get something bigger.

try looking up 400exes on craigslist. they are good quads.

Good luck

Your weight isn't a big deal but 6'2" on a Blaster is going to be uncomfortable. End of story. You'll want to get a 350/400 class four stroke to at least be comfortable on. I second the recommendation on 400EX's, also. They are great machines and are easy to find at a good price.

thats a real good deal if it runs good. If you do buy it, ask if its been rebuilt since its a 2 stroke. Id buy that for my first quad, but then again I weigh 140

Well I took off work early and drove 2 1/2 hrs to go see it and then "he couldnt get it started".

So I craigslist'd on my phone and found another one so I drove another 3 hrs to look at it. Ended up buying it, for 1100, same model, excellent condition. Drove it last night and this morning. I took it out this morning, kicked it twice and it started right up. That made me .

But I have a question as after you ride it for a little bit, when you idle it's REALLY loud. Is it just trying to cool?

And can I change out the muffler? cause it's just annoying loud anyway.

Thats a 2 stroke. They are always very loud. You could try and look for a diffrent exhaust with a silenser. My guess is that the stock exhaust is going to be the quietest.

The guy i bought it from said theres some sort of box you put in it something to do with the throttle and something about an idle screw in the carburetor? Anyone know anything about this?
