wolverine running poorley

Default wolverine running poorley

hi just joined so forgive if makin mistakes, bought a wolverine 450 but not goin well 'starts well and idles when cold but after a minute or so wont idle and revs badly, seems realy laboured hasnt got the power id hoped for. guy i bought it from says it never needs choke am wonderin if choke could be slightly stuck on ,adjusted idle screw but sometimes makes no diference any help very welcome

i would start with cleaning the carb out.... sounds like it could be gummed up..... also may have bad gas..... drain the gas and put fresh in it perhaps....

Had the same problem. Changed spark plug and It runs great.

changed plug but no difference,will take carb apart and clean this weekend ,will let u know how i get on,thanks

took carb apart today . problem was dust and dirt stopping choke plunger from working properly ,,,was only closing half way,,,blew out with air line & lubed ,,everything works great now,,,thanks guys
