Wolverine Jetting
#1
I bought a Pipe kit for my 2000 Wolverine. The only thing I'm having probelms with is getting to the main jet to change it out. On the bottom of the carborator are four screws which then you can get to the main jet to change it. I can not get these screws out. They are very tight and are stripping. Any suggestions on how to get them out? Anyone else run into this type problem?

Yo---
I had the same problem when I was playing around with my carb---I used a small set of vice-grips and started turning the screws with them and finished with the screw driver--- a suggestion-- replace the screws now because you will be back in there again!!!!

I bought the pipe kit from Alba. It came with a 147.5 main jet, Alba pipe, torque stuffer, K&N air filter and outerwears for the air filter. I have not tested it yet, they claim a 20% increase in power with this exact setup.

I not sure of the increase in HP, but I can rally tell a difference in power. Hill climbing I used to have to run the **** out of 2nd gear and now I can run third and have to let off at the top or it launches me off the top. Noticable difference in power. This is a good set up. Only bad thing is it made it alot louder. Oh well...
