By no means are you to big! I just bought a '98 blaster yesterday,it's fun. I was surprised by the power. I've jumped it some today and it landed pretty smooth. I am about 5'7" and around 138lbs or so, and it's good for me. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I have a yamaha blaster and i am 5'8'' 150lbs and i have jumped it up to about 8 feet high without a problem. And it has plenty of power for me.

1995 yamaha blaster, paul turner pipe and silencer, K&N filter, rear holeshots and hopefully more mods on the way

Well I am 6'3 and wigh 140(I know i am skinny)

Anyway i have a blaster and it feels small but i live with it.I might remove the front fenders but it just looks dumb that way!the real probem is the brakes!my fronts don't work at all and my rears you have to stand on.they have plenty in the power department and handle good to.I jump about 6-8 foot on a regular basis off jumps, ledges, anything I can get a run at and have room to land.

thanks. What about Motocross? how does it performe? and i know this may sound like the "everyday" question but i race friends down carless paved roads so what about is the top speed? does it smoke bad because its a 2-stroke? and how often would i have to rebuild the top-end?

thanks

Mine doesn't smoke bad.I would say it does about 55-60.Mine is real bad about 6th gear it bogs down and I don't think the motor can handle 6th gear with 22inch back tires.for mx the are great bikes.Like brokemybanshee said you can just throw them around and manhandle them.

They handle good on a track. I had mine on a track and all the guys there thought i should race it in arena cross. Mine doesnt smoke that much either, mine has had one new top end since it was new (I think).

I am 5'5 125lbs
When i got my blaster i thought it was small as all my other buddys thought they were hot stuff with 250r's or banshee's or a raptor. After some mods and learning how to handle it i can kill anyone threw the trails. learn how to control your machine dont let it control you
