I am looking at purchasing a ATV, during the winter I borrowed a 660 Grizzly 2005 or 04, and a 2009 Honda 500 with EPS.
I have been checking around for price, a local Yamaha dealer says he has a 2009 550 with eps that is black. He says Yamaha supplies so many of these black ones as demonstrators. He wants $6700 for it. Anyone know anything about this?
He also has a 700 eps he wants $7700 for.

would i want a 700 enough to pay an additional $1000?

The Honda 500 eps 2010 is $8200, with the electric & automatic shift. I am thinking it is not worth an extra 1500 for the honda.

They are both new.

If the 700 is new I would say yes go for the 700. With that said the 550 is a amazing machine for its size and will run pretty close neck and neck with the 700. The only major difference is the low end punch on the 700 is better. I chose the 700 for me as I ride at high elevations and need every CC I can get!
