Has any of you wild Raptor riders installed the Dynojet Kit on your machine? I'm thinking of purchasing one from Dynojet, rated 5-6 hp+/- cross
the entire power curve. Hope to hear from you. RIDE FAST.

PULL...I believe the only graph that Dyno-jet advertises is with an aftermarket exhaust. So we don't know if there is a HP or Torque gain with the kit alone.

The new ATV Sport Magazine page 85(April 2001)has the correct power curve for the stock Raptor. The web page is being corrected to show both the stock & pipied conditions. With the stock setup, dynojet portrays 5-6 hp from about 3200 - 6500 rpm and continues to increase to 10 hp at 7800 rpm. Just thought somebody may have installed the kit by now. The info looks bretty promissing.

Pull,

Can you list the HP and Torque at the given RPM range as listed in the magzine that you mentioned?

Thanks!

Sorry the magazine did not show the torque curve for the Dynojet kit, just HP/RPM, but it may be in their web page once it is updated. The other models in the web page show the torque curves.

I have an e-series slip on my Raptor and then installed the dyno-jet kit because I was running lean. It ran fine but no major improvement. When I have the $$ I am going to go for a full exhaust, K&N filter kit, then start jetting up. I feel the Dynojet kit is pricy for 2 needles and few jets. Also, I have been told that the Dyno jet kit is less forgiving when changing from sand to dirt and altitude changes.

Sorry forgot to give you the numbers on the curve:

RPM Stock HP W/kit HP
3000 16 18
4000 21 27.5
5000 28 35
6000 35 41
peak 6400 36 43
7000 34 41
7800 26 36
8000 25 35

Can somebody explain to me how Dynojets jets are that much better then the stock ones. I can't believe some new needles and jets can improve that much power. You are just delivering gas. I will probably end up buying the kit when it comes out with the K&N filter, but would like an explanition before I spend my $85 bucks.

Thanks,

Thanks Pull!
I wonder if that is a CA version or 49-state Raptor?
