Default 2007 Grizzly 700 battery question

I have an '07 Grizzly 700 and it won't start after two years of not riding it so I bought a new battery and put it in and still nothing. I can jump start it, and it will start up but if I don't keep at least a little throttle on it, it will die. Once it dies I turn the key, and still nothing. Do new batteries need to be charged on a charger? Any other idea's?

Did you leave gas in it while it was sitting for the two years?

When I bought my battery the instructions on it said to give it a couple hour (don't remember exactly how many) trickle charge before using it.

If you bought the battery from a Stealership then it should come prepped and ready to use. If you bought and put the acid in yourself then Yes it needs to be charged!

BTW, next time you want to not use your Grizz 700 for 2 years just give me a call, I'll make sure you won't need to buy another battery!
