hi, i have a 1987 banshee and well i ordered a white bro's boost bottle for it last summer and when i put it on i could never get very good top end, it just wouldnt get there, plus it was very doggy. is there a certain way to use them? ive heard of people using them before and they seem to be working fine for them. hopefully theres some way to make it work cause it would be nice to have some more power or speed whatever its sopose to help. and one more thing, i recently bought some fmf gnarly pipes with the power core II silencers and i havent been able to get any high rpms with them either. its like i have the boost bottle on but i dont have it on. its the same effect more less. does anyone have an answer for me. it would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks
jon

Did you re-jet it when adding the boost bottle and pipes? If not that is your problem.

A boost bottle is simply a slip on item, pretty hard to screw anything up.The bottle should not rob a noticable amount of your topend . The gnarly pipes are a bottom end pipe, This is why you are not getting any revs out of them, They are designed to work for a lower RPM. If you have strong bottom end power, consider changing your sprockets to a different gearing. If you are posative that the bike should have more RPM's and more top end power, than I would start looking into something else (electrical system checks out?) Also try doing a couple plug checks on your bike as the jetting that they give you with the pipes is not correct for absolutly every bike.

Have you done a compression test ? Have you done a top end rebuild or know if one has been done lately ? You could put every bolt on part in the world on and not help, if your pistons are worn out and have poor compression.
just a thought
