right now i own a parie 400.its kinda old so i want a new quad.im looking at the 400cc class and 350 cc class,
i really like the suzuki king quad 400 and the yamaha grizzly 350.i narrowed it down to those two. the yamaha will be th 4x4 but not the diff lock.
i ride hard trails that a 2 wheel drive quad will not make some times.
what i like about the kq 400 are the looks the power and low range
what i dont like about are the drum brakes and no irs.but i will live.hahaha
what i like about the grizz 350 are the power the looks smaller size
what i dont like are the drum brakes and non irs but they make it for more money. any ideas????...thanks-brandon

The 450 is the same size as the 350 just with IRS, low gear and diff loc and some more power so thats why I wanted to know. I would take the grizz any day but I am a loyal yamaha guy. I would still take the 450 over a 350 anyday though.

The 450 Grizzly has the big bike features ,Diff lock,IRS,25" tires and a low range. There is a 350 Grizzy with diff lock and IRS but no low range I think.
I like the 400 H.O but it has no low range and smaller 24" wheels.

The better ? may be what type of trails or riding are you planning on doing. And what kinds of mods. Just putting larger tires on a 350 will make you lose all the low end as little as their is to begin with anyway you would need clutch work to regain your bottom end. The 450 will take upto a 26" tire without taking a power hit as long as the tires ain't radials.
