Could i get a 90-97 banshee for $3100 or under?

 

my neighbor found a pretty modded banshee (1997) for 3500, look around, I think i read somewhere that someone got an all stock 1995 banshee for 2 grand. Keep your eyes open.

 

Look in the Auto Trader. Theres always tons of Banshees. If you cant get to one let me know and ill look for you tomorrow at work. [work at a gas station so my nose is either in one of those of Dirt Wheels] HA HA

 

guess what i found...a '97 banshee with FMF pipes and silencers. motor ported and polsihed by CT racing, WB boost bottle and Team alba graphics kit for $2000. i went to look at it today. all it needs is the carb to be re-jetted. the guy has the title with it. the only thing i can find wrong with it is it looks like the chain flew off a few times and took a nice chip out of the case. its not leaking oil or anything though. i guess im lucky to find a cheap bike in nice shape

If you know anyone in the law-enforcement line of work, or a repo-man than ask them to see if they can find you a re-posessed one. I know a guy who picked up a 90 warrior for about $500 all it needed was a bit of tlc and about $300 in parts. Not a bad deal if you ask me!

 

I bought my 89 Banshee for $1500 and it was already bored to .030 with a totally rebuilt motor from top to bottom and all electrical parts replaced including just about the rest of the bike except for the frame and rear plastic and axle. You can get really good deals from people who have no idea what's wrong with the quad and with a few hours of investigating you find out one of the coil wires had been disconnected.
